I need some help to identify the key movements that are restricted with the following conditions of the spine:
prolapse disc, facet joint disease, spondylosis, spondylolisthesis. as some of the literature is confusing me and im not sure if I'm right, but I have found that with
- prolapsed disc flexion is restricted, bit confused as to why it is? is it to do with pressure being forced through the disc?
- facet joint: extension and side flexion, due to the antamony of the facet joint, with extension and side flexion facet joints come into bone on bone contact, reproducing pain?
- Spondylosis, i'm unsure of this?
- spondylolisthesis, extension is mostly restricted?
I would really appreciate any help with this question as I am dyslexic and any help on this would be great, thanks
