Hi,
i`m a german physician and translator for medical books (Markus Vieten). My current project is about "Managing the injured athlete" and there are a few items that are a hard nut to crack for me. I´m just looking for some help or hints. Helpful couldt be of course a german translation, another word in english or a description of waht it ist or what it means:
1. There is a "Lumbar-quadrant-Test" also in germany. But in the textbook there is also a " Positive extension quadrant" (p. 230) and "hip quadrant" (p. 70) - Do they both have the same meaning like Lumbar-quadrant-Test?
2. 5. Does "downtrainig" mean the same as "Cool-down-training"? Its related to hamstrings ("RElease/downtraining work for hamsztrings and erector spinae: ..." associateds with rehabilitatiion after Grade 1 Tear of biceps femoris muscle.
3. 6. " seated boxing/grinder"---- - esp. „grinder“ is not clear to me... Associated with rehabilitatiion after Grade 2 strain of the medial collateral ligament
4. And in the same context as #3: "Full single-leg-raise – no active lag" (Does here "active lag" mean the same as „extension lag”?).
Any hint coludt be a great help for me and i´d be very thankful for it
Markus :-)
