    Physio in the military

    Taping
    Hi guys,

I'm another graduate who has been unable to find full time employment and I am considering applying for a physio job in the Army. I was wondering if any of you wonderful people had any experience of working for them or any colleagues how have.

    Thanks in advance

    Ed

    Re: Physio in the military

    Hey,

I was thinking about it for a while myself....but the basic training (fitness stuff etc) scared me off! It sounds like a great career though and there are plenty of jobs...

    Good luck with it!

I did work for the Navy for a while and this was excellent. As a civilian I was given an equivalent officer rank, in my case Lieutenant. This provided me with a equivalent amount of respect from those under me. In terms of patient compliance they were excellent and the only reason I did not stay there fulltime was that the position was temporary for maternity cover and the PT returned. I cannot recommend the opportunity enough. It's a great choice
