It is difficult to judge over the internet, without performing a clinical assessment. However, as you still have pain, I would suggest to go the physio again and explain her what happened and that the problem is still there. She did collect some information about your case so she performed some movements, tests, etc. to make sure she could give you the best treatment.
PS. I think that in your case the best word to use is STRAIN (muscle strain). Sprain refers to ligaments in a joint. (eg. ankle sprain)
