Seeing as no one has replied yet I'll have a go at an answer: The "research" post "bits and pieces" worry me a bit...and if it's only 6 months is it going to get any reasonable research done? On the other hand it'll probably be an valuble experience with patients with a difficult condition and you will have to find resources within yourself to give all you can providing exercise classes for dementia sufferers. I don't think it will be easy! However I would rate it as positive for someone newly qualified to take the plunge. Relocation is possibly going to be an issue after 6 months anyway so whether it's now for a useful sensible acute hospital rotation that would be an important valuble experience for a newly qualified physio, or later on.......well take your pick! Good luck with whatever you decide and keep all doors open if possible.
