    outcome measures

    Taping
Hi, am currently doing research project for uni on acupuncture treatment for Wikipedia reference-linktennis elbow. Trying to find outcome measures and only grip strength, fuction and pain ones have come up. Is there a database that I can find some more on or so I can reference these? Tried csp but that hasnt come up with any.

    Re: outcome measures

    Hi

Read the masterclass article by Bill Vicenzino about Lateral Epidonylalgia.

I am pretty sure that the ones you quoted are the ones to use.

What else is there? Pain is important to people, function is even more important to people, grip strength is functional.

Perhaps pressure pain threshold is a good one to use, esp if using acupuncture because of the proposed neurophysiological effects. See PPT in the article.

Otherwise PEDRO and Cochrane etc would be another place to look.

    Good Luck!
