Question Where do I go from here????

    Taping
I had to go to the hospital yesterday cuz my foot and ankle and calf were very swollen. they did an ultrasound to rule out a blood clot. no blood clot, but they didnt tell me y i was having sooo much pain and swelling. i am on crutches right now and i am leaving for canada next sat. i start PT the day after i come back from canada, the 23rd. i have had an Wikipedia reference-linkMRI, 2 xrays, and an ultrasound, and everything came back normal. my OS said that he has never seen anything like me before and it is way out of the range of orthopedics. i dont know where to go from here. i am sooo confused in the world of pain. i cry almost everyday, mostly without letting my parents see me. i cry myself to sleep. i have to wear a brace everyday. i just cant take this anymore. the docs cant do their job because they dont know what to do. but something needs to be done cuz i am in sooo much pain all the time, and they cant tell me why. i keep writing on different threads and on different websites, but i cant really get a GOOD response. i am at the end of my rope, and nobody can help.
    please, if anyone has anything,
    please, please, please, please!!

    thanks,
    jak

Red face Re: Where do I go from here????

    Must have Kinesiology Taping DVD
I would suggest you get to a physiotherapist and also your GP for an appointment to review a few issues. Firstly a full blood test to see if there is anything out of the normal causing an inflammatory response and secondly to look at you mechanics.

If all your current investigations are clear then could it be that you have been bitten by something and have suffered an allergic reaction? Look closely around your leg for a bite, perhaps with a magnifying glass.

For the record I don't understand why you would keep this issue from your parents? Are you about to start training as a PT student?
