    working in norway

    Taping
I'm a currently licensed physiotherapist from the philippines. I'm just wondering how to apply or land a job abroad for example norway or uk? Do I have to look first for employers? thanks a lot!

    Re: working in norway

    Hi,
the first thing you have to do in any foreign country is to get your degree/ diploma recognised by the local qualification authority.
And you need to be fluent in the local language - usually this is also tested, e.g. speak Norwegian if you apply for a Physio license in Norway.

Good information is here: World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT)

    Good luck,
    Fyzzio

    Must have Kinesiology Taping DVD
As fyzzio says you need to speak the local language. So I think you need to speak Norwegian even before you can apply for recognision of your diploma. In general if you want to know the requirements for a country you're better of to go on their Embassy websites or Government websites. In that case you get the information from 1st hand instead of relying on hear / say
