Having worked in neuro for 15 years I now have a family and have gone part time. As a result I am finding my current caseload challenging... when I am not at work someone else works with my patients and has their own opinions on treatment/management. As a result I am loosing heart a little and am seriously considering a change in career tack into MSK - where my part time hours would have (potentially) less impact on the patient and their management.
Do you think its a reasonable change and what advice does anyone have regards how to go about the change? I consider myself to have good observational and assessment skills, but lack the specific knowledge of MSK assessment/treatment due to limited recent experience.
Thanks for your thoughts!
