    Physio articles

    Taping
    Hi all,

Firstly, just wanted to say hi and compliment you on a great resource site. I'm from AFL Great Britain, the national governing body for Australian Rules Football in Britain. We have just launched our new website and I am begining to think about content for it (which is the reason I came across your forum).

As you may be aware, Aussie Rules is a very physical game which often results in significant wear and tear on players (as well as the odd serious injury). Through our site I am hoping to be able to offer some advice for players from junior age through to seniors about how to look after their bodies before, during and after matches but of course I am in no way an expert on any of this.

I am looking for articles to post up on the site looking at any and all aspects of taking care of players bodies, health and lifestyles. The aim is to publish at least one article a week every week looking at a different area of the body or care for it. I'm even happy to do a lot of the pen work - I just don't want to get any facts wrong!

Of course if any of you are interested in writing or sharing articles they would all be appropriately credited, either to the individual or the site. In fact I'd be interested in speaking with those who run this forum to look into the possiblity of linking our players and clubs to yourselves, both online and possibly in the 'real world'.

Anyway, I guess that's enough for a first post. If anyone is interested in writing for us I'm very happy to speak with you and answer any questions you might have.

    Thanks!

    Re: Physio articles

    Must have Kinesiology Taping DVD
Great, thanks for the tips! I'll try to find some good and relevant articles, anything to keep the players on the field and out of the treatment room. Okay, so it's more of a treatment-spot-under-a-tree than a room, but that doesn't sound quite as good...
