my god 30 physios ha checked this thread out and no answer?
Hey, i am thinking about becoming a physiotherapist. I am 15 and want someone to answer these questions for me:
1. I am thinking of taking Maths B, Biological Science, Physics, and some other subject, are these good subjects for this profession?
2. What O.P is needed to enter a Physiotherapy course in University?
3. What is the difference between having a bachelor in Physiotherapy and a masters or doctorette in Physiotherapy? Like raised pay or something like that?
4. Is there a Physiotherapy school i would have to go to get my licence as a physio? If so, how ling is the school?
5. What chemistry is involved in Physiotherapy, is there any at all?
Thanks heaps, please answer.

Hi jerry. Those are good subjects indeed if you're planning to be a physio student
Not sure what O.P. means...aussie lingo...? Come on you oz physios help us out.
In the USA almost all, if not all, physio schools have doctorate programmes but there is no difference in pay at the entry level of the profession between someone who has a masters vs someone with the doctorate.
Probably a question for the aussies to answer once again but I would prepare to study for a while after high school.
Chemistry (organic and inorganic) was one of my first year subjects in South Africa. I'm assuming you would have to take it in Australia.
Hope that helps.
