Yeah. I agree, It's really best to consult a speech therapist so they can start the therapy.

The help depends on level of injury and his abilities,however may I can tell u to:

Try to encourage your father to pronounce the letters as O,B,P,S,Z,A,...

Avoid Gums,reduce looking at merrors,

it depends on the problem. you can do a basic test by a close therapist he/she would advice you what to do next.
