    Football Physio

Hi, Im currently 16 years of age and play a lot of football for a professional club and i am hoping to get a 2 year contract, however if that does not work out i am hoping to become a football physiotherapist, I was just wondering which sports science/physiotherapist degree would be the best to achieve this.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks!

    Re: Football Physio

I would contact current football physios in your area to get their opinion as to the best path to take. In the States, a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and some good contacts with a club may be all you need to get a sweet job. A PT/ATC is a good combo to have as well. Getting into PT school there are some undergraduate Pre-PT programs that get you the prerequisites needed to apply for the graduate program, but usually any Bachelor of Science degree will work. Good luck.
