    Wink Re: A precaution Regarding...

Heheheh...My first post and its hilarious......As far as i am concerned, i don't think there are any precautions to be followed here. Its all about personal choices, if the woman feels like she is not comfortable enough with you during that time, she may decide to continue therapy at some other time........i havent experienced any problems, unless there is something i am not aware of..

probably you should not continue physiotherapy,.. why because, hydrocholateral packs, IRR, Diathermy, hot packs and ultrasound will induce vasodialatation which increases general body temperature.. so that it may facilitate the menstrual flow.. naturally womens does not feel comfortable with massage and exercises.. sombody have abdominal or pelvic pain also..they will become lethargic soon.. so, avoid giving physiotherapy atleast for 3 days..

no precautions, no contraindications. so long as the patient is happy to continue there is no issue. occasionally the hormonal cycle can increase pain perception (thanks to increased ?prostaglandins in circulation). with appropriate sanitary measures, most exercise and therapy can continue as normal!
