Hi
I'm a 38 old male.
Recently I've had lot of neck pain which occasionally radiates to my arms.
I had an MRI which showed dehydrated discs and very minimal bulges at C5/6 and C7/T1.
No significant osteophytes (spur) and no definite nerve compression was seen.
But the report also says generalised congenital canal stenosis at from C3 down to C6, narrowest at C3/4 level where the canal measures just 10 mm.
My worry is becos of my narrow canal I could easily have major problems even with mild disc bulges or osteophytes.
Is there a way of keeping your spine from degenerating.
Can we stop or at least slow down osteophyte formation or disc bulging.
I want to prevent rather than cure.
Any help would be appreciated.
Sam
