My mother was having cervicalspondylosis at the level of C3, 4, 5 and 6 for past 4 years, and I am still a student taking diploma in physiotherapy. For the past one week, my mother having a severe recurrent of the symptoms, and having difficulties in sleeping. She experiences severe numbness and shooting pain across all four limbs and chill over the chest. The symptoms commence only when she is lying down on the bed regardless the position. No symptoms produced during the day when she is sitting or walking around. Yesterday I gave her 20 minutes of portable traction at home and she felt bit relief when she is lying down. So shall I continue to give her the traction once a day until her next medical check up on Monday or wait for the next doctor’s impression? Her last
MRI was on August 2011 I am still a student, not sure what I am doing is really working…need help here
