First of all rehab from any injury cannot be found in a prescription. Each individual is different and has different goals.
Usually after surgery, the consultant will have a protocol that is normally followed. But my initial treatments would involve swelling reduction and restoration of basic movements. I would then strengthen up on a basic level, but then you need to make your treatment specific to the patient. i.e. you would treat a semi-pro footballer different to an elderly person who just needs to get around.
You have to work out what your patient needs and then treat them in that way. You would only progress treatment/exercise if the goals of these have been met. You can't progress and exercise if they can't do the previous one, or move onto more aggressive treatment if their pain levels don't allow it.
