    re: Spasmodic Torticollis

I think you need to decide whether you assessment indicated more of a "facet issue" or an acute "discal derangement". Muligan style MWM's above the lesion and/or below the lesion can be effective in the right circumstances. I believe much of the pain is caused by secondary issues associated with muscle spasm, which can be treated in light of short term relief (hence the medical administration of muscle relaxants) which may allow you to indentify and resolve the deeper issue more accurtely and effectively. Anyone else have any acute strategies. Manipulation is often useful in the medium to longterm resolution
