Re: need help in facial re education?

    Hi,
would love to help but am not an expert in the field.
What exactly are you looking for? Are you talking about NMES???
Where I used to work, all facial re-training was done by the Speech Language Therapists.
We only treated Wikipedia reference-linkBell's palsy and used NMES.

You can find some articles by using Google and keywords like 'facial palsy', 'physio', 'neuromuscular stimulation'.
    E.g.
    http://www.pta-kw.com/uploads/facial%20protocol.pdf
    http://www.sld.cu/galerias/pdf/sitio...sis_facial.pdf
    http://www.jcm.co.uk/media/cms/File/JCM84_electro.pdf

    Haven't read the articles though.

    Is that what you needed????

    Cheers,
    Fyzzio

Re: need help in facial re education?

    First author: Kabat
Second (not less great, but I think not available out of Italy): Perfetti
The first is classic, but he doesn't able to keep out (is it right in English?) problems of irradiation and synergism of movements
Do passive and assisted movements of face muscles, with facilitations in length and without resistence...I think it's the best!
    Good luck!
