    treadmills

    does anyone know of a make of treadmill that starts at very low speeds for neuro rehab?lynda

    If you are in the UK, st georges in london have got a great treadmill with body weight support made by a company called Woodway. It's a german company as far as I know.

    the make "spirit" or "Sprint" I have in my clinic starts at 0.5kph and is suitable at that speed for stroke and other motor neurone issues, rich

    Woodway GMBH is one of the popular Bodyweight Supported Treadmill Therapy appratus.Its from germany.

    You can see few machines on this website under category Medical Rehabilitation.

    Robotic treadmill therapy is another method which is similar to BWSTT but there is no need for the therapist to assist with the leg movements of the patient.

    see enraf nonius sites. mill track starts at 0,1kph, but it is on special request for additional €
