    Facial Spasticity

Hey, i've a 60/M patient suffered a stroke (PCA) month back.. causing problems with his co ordination. No synergy patterns have developed, he has good movt and strength. I've been able to co ordinate his movements and gait using exercises and spasticity in his U/L and L/L has reduced too.. but the patient keeps on complaining about tightness in his face on the left side.. with burning sensation at times..
how can i help bring that tightness down quickly coz its a big discomfort to the patient.. thanks..

    Thumbs up Re: Facial Spasticity

There probably could be some sensory issues. Try with sensory integration.
