    hi there,
    as u have mentioned here,pts with pure fascial palsy should not show signs of double vision,there are various other reasons for exibiting double vision.as far as lateral rectus is concerned it is associated with the patholgy of 6th nerve that is abducent nerve.,check out if there is any involvement of the 6th nerve?find out the exact cause for the double vision? hope this information has helped u?

    Hi..

    Thanks for the reply. Yup..the cranial nerve 6 is involve.is there anything that we can do about the double vision??I will check this patientagain and get to you for the progress.
