How about the common misconception that a neural tension technique such as the straight leg raise (SLR) is in fact a hamstring stretching technique. This is so widely printed in books and posters and taught on courses that a great unjustice is being commited.
Why not take a survey of books, posters, interview PT's, Sports trainers, GP's, Chiro's, Ostoe's etc and see who actually stretches and teaches a hamstring stretch. Very FEW!!!!!!
No wonder all the UK footballers return to the field after a hamstring tear only to reinjure themselves on their first stride down the side line! :-)
i hope ur research topic is been selected, so dont wory.hihihihihihihihii
y dont u test the reliability of goniometric measurements in tempromandibular joint movements with some other technique

hi guys,i need ur help to give me some idea about a possble research topic 4 my underraduate thesis in PT.prlly on musculoskeletal..
I have noticed that the right innominate bone goes into anterior rotation in the majnority of patients the more that hip abduction directly lateral in the coronal plane progressess.
Further, that if you landmark the PSIS to sacrum on the side of a supposed "stuck" or "fixation of" the SI joint and you have the patient do hip abduction directly lateral in the coronal plane, that the PSIS moves superior and lateral to the sacrum. How can a supposed stuck joint move apart?
Hope this is helpful
Best regards;
Neuromuscular.
