i was on holiday in turkey when i slipped down some wet stairs causing me to dislocate my left ankle snap my fibia high up also a lower fracture of the tibia and i also fractured my bimalleoer...my ankle was left with no blood supply for a hour before it was replaced. I had my op in turkey and i have a massive scar on the outer leg with a plate and 9 screws and a big scar on the inner leg wher they have put in a large screw holding the bone in place ....once back in england i had it checked and a new pot put on ...i will have been in pot for 7 weeks no weightbearing...i am still getting a lot of pain...i was wanting to know the seriousness of my injury and how long you think i will be before i will be back walking and how much physio i will need ...i am desperate as i have four children and its driving me mad...would greatly appreciate a reply

    thanks guys
