Due to some muscular tightness in my shoulders my biceps muscle belly have shortened quite significantly.

If I manage to get the muscles to recover to normal health I understand they will never extend to their original length due to the tendon's inability to shorten.

What would be the physio's opinion on having my biceps distal tendon surgically shortened in order to stretch the muscle out to its original length?

I'd be using growth factors and hormones post surgery which studies have shown can reduce healing time of fiberous tissue reducing the time the arm would need to be immobilised.

End result I'd like to be able to go back to a full training program in time (I am patient) with the support of exogenous gh supplementation.
