After much debate I finally went in for ACL reconstruction using hamstring tendon graft. During the op my surgeon said something like "the tendon isnt thick enough" and after a while came back and sain "i'm really sorry i'm going to have top abort this op as your tendons are not thick enough for a successful graft"
I'm absolutely gutted about this. I'm sat at home three days later wondering if the part of my removed hamstring tendon will grow back?
I am seeing my surgeon again in a week or so to see what my options are.
