    Elder Osteoarthritis (OA)

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
Hi Bobs, I have treated Many OA patients Of different age groups and successfully.

But here I am unable To Do the Same With Older Age Groups. I Treated An Old Female (88yr) Knee OA For 3-4 Months With Mhp, Ultrasound, Interferrential Therapy, Infrared, Isometrics and Strengthening exercises.

She Had Severe Oedema And Osteophytes, fighting With Severe Pain Since 20yrs. With My Treatment She Could Relieve For 3-4 Hrs Only. Now She Quit. But Again I've Another Patient Of Same Illness.

What Changes I Should Provide Her, so At least She Get Rid Of Pain For Long Duration.

    Red face Re: Elder Oa

Maybe they need knee replacements? Is surgical intervention and pharmacological support not an option in your country/location? Please let us know where you are from and what resources you have.
