Hi Tilly 6,
There is no certain way of knowing if the electrical stimulation caused the miscarriage or not.
Having said that, i am fairly skeptical it would have been the cause. When you are "5 weeks pregnant", the actual conception time is 3 weeks because it is roughly 14 days from the first of of your last period that ovulation occurs.
Therefore, at 3 weeks after conception, the foetus is TINY - about 2mm or 1/12th of an inch long.
It is much more likely that something like an abnormality caused the miscarriage - 25% of women have miscarriages, not many have electrical stimulation in that time. I am a physio, not a chiro so i am not really defending a colleague, just telling the truth as i see it.
I understand that it is a difficult time and you are looking for answers. I am so sorry for you loss. May God bless you with a child soon.
