    Yes thatīs it..

    So I pull patella down and press down with another hand?? And then If it bounces back, sign is positive?? And it is called ballotment test??

    Do not need to pull down, best to do with knee slightly flexed over a pillow and gently tap / press down on knee cap. Or cup under knee cap, with thumb one side and 1st finger the other and gently press down. If +ve it bounces back.

    Sorry forgot to add...we know it as the patella tap test.
