Hi guys, As we all know posterior capsular tightness is commonly seen in association with subacromial impingement. As physio's we are routinely using posterior capsular stretching for the same. A randomized control trial in normals published in JOSPT 2007 showed greater change with the cross chest method over the sleep over method.
Towel stretching is also used clinically. Since the study is in normals I would like to know which posterior capsular stretching is better from your experience with shoulder impingement subjects.
