Hi, i rolled my ankle severly about 12 months ago i was off it for 3 months my phsio thought it may have been a talar-dome fracture i had an x-ray and a mri scan both of which revealed no major damage, the specialist told me that i had bone bruising and slightly strained ligaments and i just needed to do strengthing exercises and it would get better and the swelling would take up to a year to go down. my ankle is still swollen it swells up on both sides when playing sport, i have no problem with side to side motion but backwards and forwards motions really hurt especially when kicking a football and my foot is pushed towards the ground, and also when riding my bike and if my foot slips of when pedaling hard. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks...Morgan
