    stiif fingers

In order to give any advice, you have to be far more specific on the reasons for immobilisation. e.g. due to fractures? due to reumathoid arthritis? What are we talking about?

I think your immobilised fingers may be due to a cast. If so maobilisation is the only technique. Its better to mobilise each finger after a moist heat or wax . Sliding , gliding movmt can be restored . Stabilising prox and mobilis the distal is effective.

    Question Re: finger ROM

Yes, I'm talking about restoring movement after cast. Many times especially w/ industrial injuries - flexor tendons repairs are a big problem. I think adhesions may be the culprit. Any suggestions on how to break these adhesions?

You would have to follow protocol set down by your surgeon.

    Re: finger ROM

    hello,
though from my own little knowledge i think a bit of manipulation can be done on the affected finger after wax had been used to relief the tight Ms.
