Hello! I would be grateful to hear from anyone who does movement groups for children with hypotonia and /or co-ordination difficulties. I am looking for information on the best assessment tool and outcome measures to use. Any information gratefully recieved!!!

If you want the measures to be standardised and validated ones then you could use the Gross MOtor Function Measure, or the MOvement ABC.
I would be intersted to discuss details of the movement groups, (I have a dance and physio background) and I think its important that outcome measures include enjoyment of the program and self esteem measurements

have you come across Michelle Lee? She has a pack which she uses to assess cordination difficulties and it is excellent
I use movement abc followed by co-ordination/movement groups (if appropriate) plus home activities for 6 weeks reassessment after 3-4 months. results are encouraging
