Hi,
My Daughter is 18 months old. She is not able to sit, stand or walk as of yet. Neck holding is 80%.
She is premie and had undergone Surgery for PDA when she was 2 months old. Now PDA is fine as per reports. BrainMRI is normal. We have been seeing Nuero Paedratics and their opinion is wait and watch the progress while also undergoing Occupational therapy on daily basis.
She is able to roll very well and lately started touching toys. She is also able to move backward in a walker. Uses her legs very well. She is has low weight as compared (now 7 KG) to her age but also she was born 1.25 KG. She also has a small skin lump (initially diagnosed as Spina Bifeda but later ruled out as MRI Brain was fine) at end of spine, which is OK as seen by multiple good Neuro Paedratics and General Paedratics. Her eye movement is fine and hearing is also fine (recognises parents and her name also).
She is able to communicate by making different kind of usual voices.
She otherwise looks to be a normal but lazy baby,
We are very worried about her delayed Milestone though the Occupational therapists say she will be ok by 3 yrs of age and would match a normal kid. She has been undergoing OT since she was 11 month old.
Can anyone please help us to find a possible reason or treatment for the delay, as of now no one is able to find any reason for same?
