I was wondering if anyone had any experience of treating a patient following the repair of a Perthes Lesion
I understand that a Perthes Lesion is likened to an evulsion of the anterior labrum resulting in instability of the shoulder.
The repair was performed alongside anterior capsular shrinkage to restore shoulder stability
The patient is currently 2 days post op - and is in a polysling for 4 weeks, following a home exercise program of elbow/wrist/hand range of movement exercises.
I understand that after this period of immobility the first step will be to restore range of movement before looking further at the mechanics of the GHJ/ Shoulder Girdle.
Any advice or experience would be fantastic
Ollie
