Hi Hessa,
In Australia and New Zealand our orthopaedic teams are generally adhearing to the Ponseti technique. There is evidence to support Ponseti's theories and it works. the website

should be of assistance. If your assignment is at all evidence based you will have to include the Ponseti technique which involves a series of plastering followed by a tenotomy (most of the time) and "boots and bar" up until the child is 3-4 years old.
As far as I'm aware in the world of paediatric physio there is no electrotherapy techniques that work however the world of laser therapy for scarring has really picked up over here and I have seen some amazing results with a little girl with a Volkmann's contacture of her arm.
Good luck with the assignment.
