    Hi, im a student looking for any research into the use of pilates based exercises in paediatrics. If anybody can point me in the right direction i would be very grateful! Thanks!

    I don't think you will find any. I was on the board of the PIlates Foundation UK for 3 years until about 2 years ago. I never was aware of any specific paeds articles.

    You might see if there is any general commentary on the use of Gyrotonic (www.gyrotonic.com or .de) in paeds. I am a gyrotonic trainer as well and we have discussed the use of this in paeds due to the enourmous plasticity of the nervous system at this age. I have used both in teenagers from 12-17 with stability issues and muscular dystrophy and have had clinical success in assisting endurance and stability generally.
