    Re: lissomal disease

    hi
i understand from what i read about this disese that the most common problems that these pt suffers are:
    spactisty
    delay milestone
    pulmonory insuffiency
    growth delay
    ataxia
and the severity of these symptoms depend on the severity of the disease and his age
so you have to asses this pt like others who have CP, observe his milestone level and his motor developmental level, i prepher that you use GMFS ( gross motor functional Scale) for your assessment so you can make a clear picture about your pt problem, once you understand your pt proplem you start your PT
like dealing with spacticty using streatching, splenting, correct functional deformities if it there, and start to facilitate his motor function..
    regards..
