    Brief Medical History Overview

    Problem Knee's

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
Hi, I'm applying for the armed forces and have my medical on the 14th of next month, I hear a lot of people get deferred for problems with their joints and such.
Basically I'm worried about my knee's! If I put my fingers on the outside of my knee I can feel a sort of rubbing/grinding when I move the joint back and forth and also a light grinding noise. This is the same in both knee's. I have no pain at all in them and I'm very active. Is this feeling and noise normal?

    Thanks for any replies.

Well it seems normal for you! And you don't have any pain so I wouldn't worry about it. If of course you have suffered an injury in the past then perhaps you should see someone for an assessment and opinion. But with pro footballers and the like running about without knee cartilages I think the armed forces would welcome you - as long a you can run with a pack on until exhaustion of course and not blame the knees!
