    Brief Medical History Overview

What do you think about physiotherapy treatment at home?

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
Hey everyone, I recently tore a ligament in my right ankle. That's my driving foot, so I'm not able to drive anywhere. Thankfully, I'm able to work from home (thank God), but I'd like to receive physiotherapy treatment for my foot, since it's covered by insurance anyway.
I found some physiotherapists in my area who will travel to my home and perform treatment there. I'm a little hesitant about it though, will they be able to treat me as well as a clinic would? Anyone have comments or suggestions? Is this a common practice?

    Thanks!
    -JC

Re: What do you think about physiotherapy treatment at home?

Thanks mate! I went with a home physio place I found online in Toronto,it's good so far. The only thing is, it's kind of pricey for me since my insurance only covers up to a certain amount. but at least my ankle is getting better I suppose? Is at home physiotherapy usually more expensive? I'm wondering if I can negotiate the price.
