    Brief Medical History Overview

    Commencing physio.

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
Hi, following my previous message re: calf pain I've seen an orthopaedic doctor who has recommended further physio. It's been 2 weeks since my calf muscle re-ruptured, the pain has now subsided and I'm keen to get going with the physio. How soon should this be?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated

    Re: Commencing physio.

lol, this is a harder question than the first. I would have to say that you would re-commence physio when your calf pain is not there every single minute of the day because relentless pain is usually a sign of inflammation i.e. your body is still trying to plug the tear. Hope it is going well.

Just as per obtaining advice, re: pain relief, mobilisation, it would be prudent to see a physio, even for just 1 appointment until you are fully referred
