Hi, I have had a right knee acl reconstruction via hamstring autograft, lateral collateral ligament reconstruction via allograft achilles tendon, and posterolateral corner reconstruction on the 12th june 2008 about a year ago. However i am getting really freaked out by the lack of mobility of my operated right knee, as I cannot get 0 degrees extension, and have actually forgotton what it is like to lock out my right leg such is the lack of extension. I cant even cross my legs in a sitting position as my right leg is not flexible enough any more. This surely can't be right 1 year from surgery can it, I have been really trying to get 0 degrees extension, by doing leg hangs and forced extension but it feels like there is a block under my kneecap and it is excruciatingly painful to get 0 degrees extension. Also I have found that in the morning my right leg is unbelievably stiff and painful in the hamstring and joint line areas, is this normal 1 year on or has something gone wrong with the surgery. Is it possible i have excess scar tissue in the joint, if so how do i go about breaking it up.

many thanks danny
