    Brief Medical History Overview

    i assume its my popliteus

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
Hi, I play volleyball and that's where i got this pain,
just behind the knee and the upper right of the calf of my right leg,
    here's how it happened

I jumped for a spike then i think i landed with my leg straight instead of bending it to absorb the force, the instance i landed, the sharp pain started
it was just the 2nd set, and there was still 3 to go, i could still jump then but painfully i continued playing,

the next day, i couldn't walk properly, i was rather stiff in the knee,
it felt like it was gonna give, but the pain was still in that area
but the next day i could walk again, but still stiff, but less pain,

now that's roughly 4 weeks ago, and up to now, there still pain, i can walk normally without the pain,
but the pain comes when i fully flex my leg so that it'll touch my thigh
and also when I jump off of my right leg,

    Any known treatment? massages?
    Thnx!

    Dear xwyhyx,
You should see a specialist, either MD or physio. It's been 4 weeks and you still have symptoms, meaning that it's something you should take care. Go get a medical diagnosis or physio assessment and then contact us again. We can't assume what you have with so little information.

Can you duck walk?? Might sound silly but see if you can. By this I mean squat right down, lifting your heels off the ground and try to waddle forward like a duck. If you can't do this, it could be a sign that you have damaged your cartilage. Either way - if it's been four weeks then I'd agree it's best to see someone and get a professional opinion.
