Brief Medical History Overview
Backache only when walking
in June 2008 I had a (then diagnosed) disc prolapse (cervical 5, 6).
Physical therapy brought the pain level from 10 to 5 then no more progress.
A rehabilitation program brought no further improvement, I now believe that anaerobic training is contra-therapeutic in tight muscles.
Acupuncture did not help.
Only a Dorn therapy reduced the pain level to 2.
I could live with that but when walking the level rises again, uphill even stronger and faster.
No one can explain that to me until now, although I know that the mechanical work increases up an inclined plane, but quantitatively?
Taping helps, but do I have to walk around taped for the rest of my life?
Pain ointment with eucalyptus, mint, etc. helps a little, but of course doesn’t solve the problem.
I'm not overweight.
Why am I "suffering" only when I walk?
Is there a solution?
I only want to walk one hour again.
Thank you in advance.
