    Brief Medical History Overview

Ankle reconstruction 8 months post op

I had ankle reconstruction surgery October 2009 and am still having some complications. The ankle is very stable and getting stronger. However I am yet to return to exercising due to pain that is stopping this and general ROM in flexion and extension.

    My questions are:
    1. I have a pain as per picture below (lateral ankle photo) that nothing seems to help alleviate it. Stretching or anything. Should I have heat/ice on it and is there anything I can do to help as this is the major concern.

    2. The next issue is the last few days when I stand I can put weight on the foot and walk due to pain in the front of the ankle and can't do inversion or eversion for a short period of time.

    Any help please.
