I suffered an intra articular distal radius fracture 7 weeks ago (fell off bike). I had traction followed by a closed reduction and my wrist was set pointing pinky down about 20 degrees. I had my plaster removed 7 days ago, it still felt like it was broken, my wrist and hand were still swollen.
As I push through the pain with my physiotherapy regime, my range is returning nicely and the wrist moves a lot better (no change in swelling or pain though)
What concerns me though is the pain on the opposite(ulnar) side, from wrist to elbow (and complete lack of strength). I think I may have torn the muscles(tfcc?) badly. Should I continue to try and force the range to return to my wrist, or should I give the tfcc a chance to heal through rest?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as it's another 7 days before I see the physio again.

Edit: Oh, and I have loss of sensation in the hand and fingers, the skin feels scaly too. Is this normal?
