Elective placement in New Zealand for UK student physio

Hi,

I'm a 3rd year physiotherapy student in Glasgow and I have to organise a 4week elective placement for June 2011. If possible I would like to do this in Auckland, New Zealand but am unsure where to start.
Do I need a working visa to do so? What sort of insurance do I need?
