Knee Injury tennis player, Can you help?

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
Hey Im samantha, I posted this last week but feel it might help to ask in the patients corner

Im a keen tennis player but injured my knee three weeks ago, its on the mend now but Im worried it will have a lasting effect on my tennis? Is there anything I can do to prevent this or help it heal faster?

We need more information. What have you done to the knee? if it is just soft tissue damage then the appropriate stretching and strengthening should have you back to full function without any last effects. If there is something more serious going on then (as indicated by the 3 week history so far) do you know what it is? have you had any input?
To be fair most injuries to the knee with some exceptions are going to all comprise a very similar rehabilitation program of strengthening and stretching... So if you get the appropriate exercises you should mend well. Without knowing more about what is wrong I cannot comment further.
