    Brief Medical History Overview

    Bounce when i walk

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
Hello, I have an ongoing issue with the way i walk.

When i walk i bounce and my shoulders rotate. This obviously draws unwelcome attention towards me.

I have heard ( not from a professional) this is caused by a weak core and small calves. I experience no pain as a result of this ailment.

I'd like some exercises that can address this issue.

    Michel.

It is definitely due to some neurological impairment in peripheral nerves that you are experiencing an abnormal gait. It would be better if you could give us a bit more history regarding the issue related to prior injuries or diagnoses that you have had from medical examinations by a doctor.

    Hi Michel

I am sure you know what you mean in your description but younhave not conveyed it very well:

what do you mean you "bounce"when you walk? What actually happens?

And what do you mean your shoulders rotate?

A picture speaks a thousand words so if you could get someone to take a movie of your walking and put it up on a site where we could look at it we may be able to help. However To be frank you may be better off spending the money and going to see a physio.

BTW I can't see how orthopedic can claim That it definitely is due to some neurological impairment of the peripheral nerves from your brief description so I wouldn't take that to heart just yet.
