    Cervical disc herniation

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
My husband is 40 yrs and he is having cervical herniated disc. He is having pain in his arm for almost one and half month. We tried many medicines and finally doctor gave him steroids. Now after a week he is having much relief from pain but still having numbness at shoulder. But if we stop steroids after another week, the pain will be back?

What are another treatment options for cervical herniated disc?

I would suggest your husband sees a physiotherapist who is familiar / trained in the McKenzie Approach. Many cervical disc herniations will respond to appropriate physiotherapy treatment. You may be interested in checking out the above link for detailed information on these injuries including treatment.

    Hope that helps,
